1. Adhesive Dressings
Commonly known as Plasters / Band-aids. They come in various sizes. They are used mainly to cover and protect cuts and grazes.
2. Antiseptic wipes
- Prowipe: These are essential for effective cleaning of the wound area and equipment that is contaminated. As ours are alcohol free they can be used on broken skin and will not burn.
- Cetrimide: Antiseptic Wound Cleaner. 1% Cetrimide based wound cleaning solution. Used to clean cuts and grazes before applying an adhesive plaster. Alcohol Free.
- Alcohol Swab: Alcohol Based Cleansing Wipe. 2 ply. Used to disinfect area prior to needle insert.
3. Bandages
Bandages are a must-have in your kit!
- Conform Bandages: Are used to cover and protect. The Stretch polyester assists in general purpose binding.
- First Aid Dressings: Wound pressure dressing. Minimises bleeding with absorbant pad.
- Crepe bandages: Are made with high quality stretch cotton and made to lend you support for injuries, sprains and joint aches.
4. CPR Mouthpieces
A CPR mouthpiece is a barrier device. Protection from exposure to infection when performing CPR.
5. Gauze Swabs
Gauze comes in 3 different sizes, sterile and non sterile. Used for cleaning and dressing wounds.

Thermal insulation cover. Reduces heat loss in the body caused by exposure. Facilitates in shock reduction.
10. Thermometer
Choose a digital thermometer as they are more accurate and easier to read.
11. Tweezer / Forcep
Tweezers remove splinters from a wound.
12. Burnshield
Sterile trauma hydrogel. For the emergency treatment of first, second and third degree burns. Cools and soothes. Most effective in the first 24 hours.
